It’s cold, it’s miserable and we’ve resorted to insulating our windows with bubble wrap… but tomorrow for a mere £4 waged, or £1 unwaged you can see three great bands AND support Digs. So grab your hat and find your gloves, bring your friends but not your landlords, come on down to The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington at 7pm, and let’s huddle together for warmth. There’ll be an exciting raffle and samosas for the hungry.

Autumn Statement: Overseas home owners to pay tax on UK property sales
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-25219129
This is good news, as foreign owners will consider selling before the 2015 deadline. It would be interesting to see the impact, as news filters through.
There is a flip, British citizens who are working overseas or thinking of moving to another country might be effects. A friend has emigrated to Australia, but he was worried about selling up in the UK, in case he is priced out if things don’t work out in Australia and needed to return to the UK.
Great Benefit! Well done all and hello to Justina, it was lovely to meet you! Also just in case people can make it there’s a noise demo outside Senate House, Malet street on monday 12.30 – 1.30pm. It’s against Workfare (slightly different subject but I’m sure some of you are having to deal with that shit too). See Boycott Workfare for more. Best wishes, Rob.
